Tim Murphy has been Sr. Director, Project Management at Sydnexis since 2021. Tim has spent 15 years in pharmaceutical research, primarily in early phase, small-molecule formulation and analytical development. Prior to Sydnexis, Tim was at Glaukos where he worked on multiple sustained delivery implants for various disease states and areas of the eye. Prior to Glaukos, Tim was at Catalent (formerly Pharmatek Laboratories) where he performed QC testing and formulation optimization of mostly solid oral products as well as ophthalmic drug products to support drug delivery implants.

Tim holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of San Diego and a Master’s in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma where his research was focused on synthesis of novel oncology agents.
